HLC reaffirmed Bellevue’s accreditation in January 2025 and lists its next reaffirmation for 2034-2035. HLC’s record also shows a 2019 evaluation that ended in “Continue Accreditation with Monitoring” and a 2021 interim report “Accepted with Continued Monitoring”.
On October 13, 2026, Bellevue said it is one of five founding members of a new accreditor, the National Association for Academic Excellence (NAAE). NAAE “will seek formal recognition from the U.S. Department of Education”, and until then the five schools “will remain accredited by their current federally recognized accrediting agencies.”
Regional vs national accreditation explains what the kind of accreditor changes for you.
Bellevue’s online credit costs $459 for 2026-27; on campus it is $339
| What you take | Tuition per credit |
|---|---|
| Undergraduate, online | $459 |
| Undergraduate, on campus (traditional or cohort) | $339 |
| Undergraduate, Military Preferred programs | $250 |
| Graduate, online or on campus | $680 |
| Graduate, Military Preferred programs | $350 |
| Doctoral | $825 |
Bellevue also charges a $300 general college fee each term and a $100 graduation fee. Military Preferred rates are for degree-seeking active-duty members of the military, National Guard, Reserve and Coast Guard and their spouses, with proof of status.
Bellevue’s 2026-27 aid budget for a full-time undergraduate uses the online rate: $13,293 in tuition and fees, or 27 credits at $459 plus three $300 term fees. Its cost of attendance adds $1,290 for course materials, $12,372 for housing and meals off campus, $1,100 for transportation and $4,400 for other costs.
Scorecard lists tuition and fees of $10,053 for 2025-26. By our math, that equals 27 credits at the 2026-27 on-campus rate of $339 plus three term fees, so online students should budget from $459.
Eligible undergraduates can get Pell, which pays up to $7,395 for 2026-27; 32% of Bellevue undergraduates had a Pell Grant in 2024-25. If your employer pays at least 50% of your tuition and fees, Bellevue’s deferral, once approved, moves your payment to 45 days after the class ends; you stay “solely responsible” for the bill.
Walmart’s Live Better U lists two Bellevue bachelor’s degrees, in business management and leadership and in supply chain and logistics. Companies that pay for college compares Walmart’s terms with other employers’.
Your old credits count only after Bellevue’s evaluation, within three limits
Bellevue says you can transfer your entire associate degree, or up to 60 equivalent semester credits, and that credits “never expire” there. A Bellevue bachelor of arts or bachelor of science takes 127 credits, though select Bachelor of Science majors require at least 120. Three limits cap what transfers:
- 30 credits must be earned at Bellevue, online or on campus.
- At least 12 of those 30 are upper-level credits in your major, or 21 in accounting, business administration, finance and financial planning.
- Remedial or developmental courses don’t count, even inside an associate degree.
Bellevue’s online transfer guide calls its results “preliminary and subject to change upon evaluation of your official transcripts”, and its Registrar’s Office makes the final decision. Ask for that evaluation in writing before you enroll.
| Credits accepted | Credits left | Tuition at $459 | With term and graduation fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| None | 127 | $58,293 | $62,893 (15 terms) |
| 60 (a 60-credit associate degree) | 67 | $30,753 | $33,253 (8 terms) |
| 97 (the most, since 30 must be at Bellevue) | 30 | $13,770 | $15,070 (4 terms) |
By our math, tuition is credits left times $459. The last column adds the $300 general college fee for each term at the 9 credits a term Bellevue’s aid budget assumes, plus the $100 graduation fee.
Bellevue’s online page says its students finished a bachelor’s in 2.6 years on average, based on academic years 2022 to 2024. That is Bellevue’s own figure, and it does not say how many credits those students brought in.
54% of Bellevue’s 2017-18 starters earned an award within eight years
| Measure | Bellevue |
|---|---|
| Earned an award within 8 years (all students who started in 2017-18) | 54% |

| Undergraduates with a federal loan (2024-25) | 22% |
How you start matters. College Navigator’s older measure, for undergraduates who entered in 2016-17, shows 70% of transfer students who enrolled full-time received a bachelor’s degree within eight years, against 27% of transfer students who enrolled part-time.

Who Bellevue fits, and the watch-outs
It fits if
- You have an associate degree. If all 60 credits of a 60-credit associate degree count, 67 are left: $30,753 in online tuition, by our math. The Registrar decides, and remedial courses don’t count.
- You want business or IT online. The business bachelor’s had 481 awards in 2023-24, and 2017-18 and 2018-19 finishers earned a median $84,019 four years later.
- You are on active duty, in the Guard or Reserve, or married to someone who is. Military Preferred programs charge $250 an undergraduate credit for 2026-27.
Watch-outs
- 46% of 2017-18 starters had no Bellevue award after eight years, by our math from the 54% rate.
- Online costs more than campus. Each online credit is $120 more than an on-campus one, by our math ($459 against $339).
- Thin cost data. The federal net price for 2024-25 covers 24 students, so ask Bellevue for a written estimate.
- Part-time study cuts aid. Bellevue says “Dropping to less than full time will reduce your financial aid loans and grants.” StudentAid.gov says annual loan limits “are adjusted downward proportionally based on your level of enrollment.”
